Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo initial screening by the editor to ensure alignment with the journal's scope and quality standards. Papers that meet these criteria are then subjected to double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The peer review process typically takes 4-6 weeks.
Conflict of Interest
The Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research requires authors to complete a disclosure form when submitting their manuscript. Authors must reveal any conflicts of interest or financial relationships that could influence the study’s findings—this includes employment, consultancy, ownership, honoraria, patent applications, or expert testimony. For industry-funded projects, it is crucial to clearly declare the extent of the sponsor's involvement. If the sponsor had no influence on the study's design, execution, analysis, or manuscript preparation, this must be explicitly stated. Upon acceptance, a Conflict of Interest statement will be included in the published article. The journal adheres to COPE guidelines on conflicts of interest and competing interests.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism involves presenting someone else's words, ideas, or expressions as if they are your own original work. This occurs when another person's content is used without proper acknowledgment, regardless of whether permission was obtained. The Journal of Pharmaceutical and Sciences and Research also recognizes "self-plagiarism" as a form of misconduct. Self-plagiarism refers to reusing parts of one’s previously published material in a new submission without appropriately citing the original source.
Open Access Policy
JPSR is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
Retraction Policy
Pharmainfo Publication may retract articles in cases involving major errors, ethical issues, or fraudulent data in the published work. Retractions serve to uphold the accuracy and integrity of the scientific record. Common reasons for retraction include plagiarism, data falsification, ethical misconduct, duplicate submissions, and authorship disputes.
